Here's an original M1 helmet liner with a Capac/Westinghouse stamp from the Korean War era. It features the insignias of the 69th Infantry Division and the 272nd Infantry Regiment. Named to Lieutenant Gooding, it shows an officer 'follow me' stripe on the back. In excellent used condition, the liner is solid with no cracks or chips, and it has been re-painted. The webbing exhibits minimal wear, and the hardware is clean. Complete with a headband, leather chinstrap, and neckband – all in very good condition. A meaningful piece of military history for collectors of all levels.
