Original USMC Helmet Cover – WWII Production, Vietnam War Use
A solid, authentic example of a WWII-produced USMC helmet cover, later used during the Vietnam War. This variant, featuring 22 buttonholes, is particularly hard to find, making it a great collectible. It also includes a solid black ink Eagle, Globe, and Anchor (EGA) stamp.
The cover is in near-perfect condition, with vibrant colors and a very clean appearance. The helmet crease is very light, preserving its overall structure. The only modification is the slits made by the soldier to slide the helmet chinstraps through, a common field adaptation.
This cover is an excellent choice for collectors, reenactors, or those looking for an original WWII-manufactured USMC helmet cover with strong potential for Vietnam War use..
