We affectionately call this web kit the "pre-64" because it was used in liners from around 1960 to 1963. It retains the same style as the WWII/Korean liners but uses Vietnam War-era cotton webbing. The kit includes the upper and lower web harness, shoestring tie, black -A- washers, and brass rivets. The neckband, headband, and leather chinstrap are sold separately, with various options available, including original, reproduction, or hybrid neckbands. For the chinstrap, choose the black buckle version. Don't forget to add a new headband—all available in our store.
For easy installation, we offer a setting tool on our Restoration Parts page to roll over the rivets. If you'd prefer not to do the work yourself, we also provide a service to professionally set the web kit into your helmet liner. Shipping your liner to us is simple, and the cost is usually lower than buying the tool, making it a hassle-free option, especially for those with fewer projects.
