Restored Norwegian M1 helmet complete with liner. We are building these out when we can for the rough and tumble reenactor who does not wish to put an original WWII M1 helmet through the wringer every weekend. These are also perfect for those on a budget who want a helmet for display and cannot spring for a full fledged original yet.
What we are doing is giving these helmets a thorough cleaning, fresh paint and a set of our reproduction chinstraps. Then we finish them out with one our helmet liners*.
This one has a restored original WWII Seaman's Paper liner. The helmet we have pictured here is the one we will ship. Sold complete and ready to wear right out of the box.
*These liners are restored exactly like our top shelf liners except they didn't turn out as pretty as we would like. They will have blemishes from previous use that we feel keep them from being excellent. However, they still have tons of life left in them and are perfect for field use. These blemishes can be described as light cracks in the rim or punctures in the body that require repair. They turn out looking really good and we'd never restore anything that we wouldn't wear ourselves.
