Vietnam War Type II Parachutist Helmet
Our Type II Vietnam War M1 helmet is a complete paratrooper setup built with predominantly genuine U.S. GI-issue components. The helmet itself is 60s issue and has a set of original chinstraps. The liner features a three-point neckband (dated 1972), a matching headband (1972), a chin cup with the U.S. stamp, and the liner is in excellent used condition, dated 1967.
The only reproduction item in this build is the Mitchell camouflage cover. The original “cat eye” elastic band has been modified in-house by removing the reflective eyes and adding an ink stamp to better reflect a mid-1960s appearance.
This is a high-quality build that balances accuracy and durability—an upgrade from our previous configuration. Ideal for collectors, reenactors, and anyone who appreciates historical gear. Each detail is carefully represented, and the helmet looks just as sharp in person as it does in the photos.

A few words aout our original helmets and liners:
Can I choose a manufacturer?
Unfortunately, no. It’s not about being selective or difficult — it’s simply impossible to maintain an adequate stock of every helmet and liner manufacturer.
Are all your helmets and liners from the Vietnam War era?
Absolutely. All of our steel helmets are original U.S. G.I. manufacture from the 1960s–1970s, and the liners are from the same era.
What is the condition of your helmet and liner stock?
We take great pride in selecting only the best candidates for restoration. Minor defects such as small dents, stress cracks, hairline rim cracks, chips, or tiny punctures may exist, but anything too far gone to be properly repaired is promptly rejected.
