M1 Helmet Liner (WWII) Lot of 3
Two of these WWII M1 helmet liners are made by Firestone and one by Westinghouse. However, they’re far from mint and require significant work—expect issues like mushy rims, rivet blowouts, cracks, chips, missing chunks, punctures, and discoloration.
Are they garbage? Maybe. But they’re not ready for the trash and definitely not for beginners. You’ll need solid restoration experience and plenty of patience to tackle these.
Why aren’t we restoring them ourselves?
We already are—just not these specific ones. This batch is beyond what we can handle quickly without driving up costs. However, for those not bound by production restraints, these rough liners can be a fun challenge to bring back to life at your own pace.
We have more lots listed, so grab what you can and get after it!
