Original Korean War Era M1 Helmet (Restorable Grade)
We're making room and offering original Korean War era M1 helmets, each in restorable grade. They come from the very same lot we use for our complete helmet packages!
Expect signs of wear: chipped paint, possible small dents, or minor surface rust and small stress cracks. These are not freshly refurbished helmets or top-end collector grade—you get the satisfaction of restoring them to your preferred level of authenticity or just add a chinstrap and call it a day. If you have the know-how (or just enjoy the challenge), these helmets can be brought back to life at a pace and cost that suits you.
Why aren’t we restoring these ourselves?
We are! We're just making room and these extras push beyond what we can manage efficiently. However, for those not bound by our production constraints, these genuine lids are a great opportunity to own and restore an iconic piece of Korean War history on your own terms.
