WWII M1C Paratrooper Helmet – Rebuilt from Original WWII Front-Seam Shells and U.S. Helmet Liners
These helmets are built on genuine WWII M1 front-seam, swivel-bale shells. About 25 years ago, they were restored into an M1C-style configuration and then placed into long-term storage. Each one remains in good, fully serviceable condition, showing only light stacking marks, scuffs, and small dents from decades of handling.
The liners were rebuilt at the same time using OD3 (khaki) suspension and A-yokes made from repurposed WWII gas mask bag straps, giving them the look of early Inland-style liners. Each was fitted with a reproduction chamois-lined chin cup and an original French M51 leather chinstrap. We completed the liners with a new headband and neckband, and properly finished the shells with a new set of our M1C chinstraps, since the original rebuild never included them.
Used original drawstring helmet net is also included.
